This handmade basket was purchased at Colonial Williamsburg. I watched a gentleman make it without any modern tools or supplies then bought it. I think it is either oak or ash. It measures 13 1/2 inches from base to highest point on handle and is 8 1/2 inches wide. It truly is functional art. It is very strong and sturdy. I am willing to meet in Christiansburg if needed.

Leather pieces for sale (Blacksburg (south main)) $5

Years ago, I decided I wanted to learn how to make things with leather. As a result, I have accumulated a *giant* amount of leather scrap pieces when the leather guy used to sell in town.
I haven't finished enough projects to warrant keeping this much leather around my apartment.

So, I have lots of leather for sale.

The entire lot together fill a 19 gallon bucket: whose dimensions are: 21" by 16".
Some are small pieces, some are medium pieces, and I have a very large single piece (multiple yards long. This one is a tan color).
I have an assortment of colors: Tan, dark brown, black, red, green, purple.
I don't know much about leather, so I don't know if this is normal for leather: but, one side looks and feels like suede(soft), and the other side like typical leather (smooth).
The pieces also range in thickness, but not by a whole lot. (I have made a few messenger bags and skirts over the years, and I have never seen a noticeable difference in the thickness with the finished product)

I am willing to sell pieces separately, as a few, or as the whole lot. I also have a hole punch, with rotating head that allows you to punch different size holes in the leather. If you buy the lot as a whole, I will throw this in for free. Email me if you would like to come see what I have, and make me an offer for what you want!

It was released in 1986 by the Radford Chamber of Commerce. It is in excellent new condition, still sealed in plastic (minor tear, no damage to print). Print measures 16x20.
