The boat Is located in Radford VA
I bought the boat 4/9/2011
My wife and I have enjoyed many hours fishing, and riding it up and down the Flint River near Albany GA.
We have had it out on Lake Lanier, north of Atlanta GA 2 times,
A couple of time out on Lake Alatoona near Woodstock GA
And of course, Claytor Lake here by Radford
I can tell you I miss the bigger lakes of Georgia and of course the longer fishing season, sigh.
The engine starts reliably and the engine is strong through the full range of acceleration, it purrs at top running speed and it idles smooth and stable.
Yearly I replace the grease in the lower gear assembly.
I have removed and inspected the spark plugs and note, no build up or abnormal deposits, in fact they continue to look brand new.
I replaced the water pump impeller when I first purchased it for general principal.
The motors starter bracket had a crack in it and although it was still functioning, I replaced it in 2012
The motor has 2 Spark coils, and one failed June 2012 which I replaced.
April 2013 preseason check, I replaced the water pump again, however it really did not need it, turns out the discharge port had dried up and all it really needed was a bit of a cleaning.
I have always followed the following best practices:
Verify water is pumping by checking at the beginning of the season with a hose, clamped to the motor.
Visually Verify water is pumping at the start and end of each boating trip.
Always user the correct oil to gas mix.
Always user fuel stabilizer, when using an ethanol mixed gas.
The Bimini Top
The Charging isolation relay
The Manual Battery switch
The electrical switch panel -- All branch circuits are fused and backed by a main power circuit breaker.
The Cigarette lighter / power outlet
And the Electric horn
I replaced the power line to the trolling motor and added the appropriate circuit breaker.
Preplaced (installed new) the sump pump and live well pump
Added the anti-airlock Livewell pickup
Painted the interior
One of the pedestal seats was not included when I bought the boat so it is new.
I replaced both of the passenger, folding seats, as the ones that came with the boat were rather cheap.
I have purchased new all-weather carpet for the interior but have not yet replaced it in the boat, it is included
