I have three beagle/terrier mixes still available for adoption. They are rescues from a kill shelter where they were about to be put to sleep. I think they are as cute as they come. They're about 9 weeks old, they've been dewormed and had their puppy shots. I have the Beagle looking one staying at my house and he is an excellent little dog. For a puppy he listens well and he is pretty calm. He does great in his crate, does his best to hold it to go outside. He loves kids and plays very well with other dogs. I think they will all stay on the smaller side, no more than 35 lbs and that's probably a stretch.

They have partially refundable adoption donations with proof of their neuter at a more appropriate age. If you're interested let me know. THEY DON'T HAVE TO GO TOGETHER!

I am selling a LARGE display case that would be PERFECT to keep a snake or reptile in. The item would hold around 200 gallons if it held water. It is a large display case with feet, brushed metal frame with plexiglass sides. The plexiglass can be removed and you can add in a screen or glass or whatever you want. There is a plexiglass divider in the middle, dividing the case in half. On the side there is a handle. The door securely shuts so that whatever is inside the case cannot get out. You could have a lock fitted for this case. It would be perfect for a large snake (you can take out the center divider) or you can keep different reptiles in the two levels. Perfect for bearded dragons, leopard geckos, monitors, etc. You could also use it outside as a greenhouse... very versatile!

Item is EXTREMELY sturdy. I can help deliver this with my pickup truck for FREE as long as you come help load it up.

Very Friendly Male Cat Needs Home (Christiansburg)

I (sort of) have a very friendly male cat that needs a home. My wife and I just moved into a new house which coincidentially is only a few houses down from where we used to live. At our old house I used to put food out for him but as you can guess, I had every stray cat for what seemed like miles hanging out around my doorstep, this cat being one of them.

Anyway, now that we've moved, a couple days ago I was out in the yard and here comes one of them. He saw me and now he's hanging around again. This isn't a HUGE deal, but I already have two cats and don't want to start putting food out again because then I'll just be in the same boat as before. Plus, my other cats don't like the stranger cats hanging around.

This stray has been hanging around for a few months now and based on the fact that he's thin as a sheet of notebook paper and ALWAYS hungry I think it's safe to say that he doesn't have a home. In addition, it seems that 90 percent of the time he's hanging around so if he had a real home I don't think we'd be seeing so much of him. I don't know why he's so friendly if he's a stray, but my guess is that someone must have dropped him off or something. He's not neutered and really needs a home where someone will get him fixed so that he's not going around making more and more strays.

Like I said, this cat is super friendly and would make someone a great pet. He's clean, appears healthy (aside from being too skinny), and is full grown but probably not more than a year to 18 months old. I've been feeding him a little here and there but again, I don't want to start another cat orphanage.

Your loved one will be very much cared for in a way that mimics their normal day, to keep their stress levels down while you are away. All the dogs sleep in our room so we can be there to comfort them, and they spend most of the day indoors with human companionship. There are MANY opportunities for play outside if you choose, especially if your dog is higher energy and would like to play outside with our dogs until they fall!!

I used to work as a veterinary technician and I currently foster for the local humane society. I have many years experience with training and housesitting (friends and family have been asking us for years). Our dogs are rarely left for long hours. We have two large 12 by 12 pens in the basement if they need to be left for a short time (if we run out to the store or something). We have a LARGE half acre fenced in yard.

I will charge about the same rate as your local vet. Your dog MUST be dog friendly with all dogs and must be up to date on all vaccines! We strongly prefer altered pets. I believe that this is a much better option than having your loved pet sit in a cage at the vet- let out only three to four times a day to go to the bathroom and never given a chance to run and play. Please email as soon as you know about your trip as I will only take a few dogs at a time.

Housesitting in your home is also an option depending on circumstances. We usually prefer to keep cats in their own environment because they tend to stress more easily. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Magick is a black and white tuxedo male. He has a white chest, and some toes are white too. He is a nice pudgy little boy and looovveesss to cuddle! He enjoys sleeping in the crook of your arm, and he will be a big lap cat! He also loves to play, especially when you roll him onto his back! Torbie is a pretty little girl. She is a mix of all colors! She has the base of a grey and white tabby, but she has splashes of orange throughout her coat! She is very calm and content to be held. She loves to beat up Magick! She enjoys scaling the scratching post and the bed. She also loves to beat up her Moms tail! Torbie looks just like her mother! Handsome cat needs a warm lap

With some sadness, we have to find a new home for our cat. He is a very handsome (neutered), "plus-sized," black cat in need of a loving home, with a person who has an open lap and hands that like to pet! He'll show a great deal of affection and purrs so loudly that windows shake... not really, but close to it.

He likes to visit the outside a couple of hours each day, but he especially loves the great indoors - sleeping for hours at a time on soft surfaes. Unlike many cats, ours loves to be pet even on the stomach ... he'll stretch out for that. He lets you know when he wants to eat and go outside.

He is not de-clawed (we are unwilling to subject an adult cat to that), but if he is around a good scratching post, he'll leave furniture alone. He doesn't touch our microfiber couches. Also, he does not get along well with dogs (big surprise) and likes all the attention to himself - so it's better if he's the only cat around.

Please contact via email if you have a serious interest. Anyone wanting to adopt will have to be interviewed at his/her home, and of course can meet our cat before a decision is made.

We are needing to relocate our cat because of a move that will not allow us to take him.

Two dogs were recently given away without its owners consent. One is a male chihuahua by the name of "Chico", who is around four or five years old. The second is a black Pomeranian by the name of Benji, a little older, 6 or 7.

We would really love to have these great pets back in our possession, if you have any helpful info, it would greatly be appreciated!

Or we would at least like to know they have found a good home! thanks!

Rabbit Needs a New Home

We have a rabbit that needs a new home. He is about 2 or 3 years old, 5 lbs or so, and has a white coat with a few spots. He is very sweet and litter trained. My husband is always gone working and I have had to get a second job so I am never home to let him roam free. Lately some days he stays in his cage most of the time and it is breaking my heart. I would like to see him with someone who has time to spend with him, and preferably "rabbit experience", or if you are looking for a companion for a rabbit you already have.

I am charging a $50 adoption fee to deter people who would like to eat him or use him for dog fighting, etc, etc, etc. However, he will come with a cage and food, hay, and much, much, more.

I received 'Dori' from SWVA rescue this past Wednesday. She was brought to my place of employment for me to meet. We've been bonded ever since. This miniature schnauzer is the smartest girl. She is very obedient, glued to my side, and always looking for instruction from me. She responds to my voice and direction immediately.

I know I am fortunate to have found such a great companion. And that's what she is for me.

I've rescued felines all my life, and appreciate many others who sacrifice their lives, time and money to do so.

Bonnie is a 1.5 year old female redbone coonhound mix. She weighs 45 pounds. Bonnie is very friendly, energetic, and cute. Bonnie is very receptive to training and has come a very long way in her foster home. She just lives to get a piece of ice as a treat, or spends her time happily chewing away on a Nylabone, or playing with her red heeler foster sister. She really loves to go on walks, too! Note that she's never chewed on anything other than a dog toy and almost immediately learned not to get up on furniture (a house rule) and also almost immediately learned not to go into rooms she isn't allowed in. Her house manners are constantly improving, and she's become quite the house dog!

Bonnie has already been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and tested negative for heartworms. Bonnie is cratetrained and housetrained. She regularly spends more than 6 hours a day without being let out with no problem.

Kailo is a young (1 yr) female shepherd mix. She is 55 pounds. Kailo is very low maintenance.A couple exercise sessions or walks and she's good. Kailo and her "sister" do play together and have a couple good running/wrestling sessions per day. Then all Kailo needs is to be near her person. She follows her foster mom from room to room. She will make someone very happy, someone who loves the loyalty, who likes to have their dog lay with them on the couch while they read or watch TV.

Kailo will heel, sit, down, stay, shake, roll over. She waits politely on her mat while meals are prepared. She will also lay on her mat when it's placed by their table. So she's joining them at the table, but not begging. She does not get human food other than apples and carrots.

I got a brother/sister pair of black cats last year and am Moving to a location that doesn't allow pets. there about 14monthsish old.

Brother
"RJ" Ron Jeremey, short hair, black w/white spot on chest, playful more ramboxious of the two.

Sister
"Jenna" Jenna Jameson, Long hair(very shiny/pretty), all black with slight hint of grey, she is very cuddly/loving, a bonified lap cat, she's fixed.

Their mother looks just like the sister 'cept grey, was a alley cat taken in by a friend. Father was a stray cat that was black and white, neighbor shot him when he was diggin through his trash,:-(. Mom now lives in Florida. They were born with two other black/white cibilings whom I have seen in over a year nor know where they are, the two I have were the largest of the 4 and most people that see them go "there huge!!" but just cause a size, not fat or anything.

I've always had a full water/food tray for whenever they feel like eatin and of course a litter box. I also have a cat tower that goes to the ceiling. It's been ravaged by a grand total of 7 cats so it ain't exactly pretty, She scratches the bottom of it and he likes to sit on the very top rung.

I ask for $20 donation just to cover equipment/food you will get with them.

Lyra is a wonderful little lady. She is 1-2 years old and a terrier mix. She is small to medium sized (no more than 25 pounds). She is a very sweet girl and gets along great with the other dog in her foster home. She is very curious about cats but is always gentle with them. She is housetrained and crate-trained. Lyra knows "sit" and to respond to her name. She is amazingly loving and prefers to be close to her foster parents or other dogs though she's comfortable by herself as well. Lyra is very athletic and can jump very, very high for her size and would probably enjoy agility training or other athletics.

Lyra has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for heartworms, deflead, and dewormed.

I have a beautiful calico cat that I took in almost 3 months ago. She was pregnant when I took her in and she ended up having 3 adorable kittens. Two of them are accounted for...but there's one left! He was born on April 19th so he's almost 10 weeks old now. He is sociable and friendly...and VERY ACTIVE and FUN!

I don't know how old the mother is, but I believe she is young...probably no more 2 years old. She is unbelievably friendly to anyone and LOVES attention. She's not a lap cat, but she loves to be around people and play around.

Foxy Girl is a 11 month old terrier mix. Her hair looks wirey, but it is really very soft. Foxy Girl weighs a whopping 9.5 pounds! She was blind in her left eye due to an old injury that was not treated by a vet. She has had her eye removed because it was painful. 5/12: Foxy has recovered from her eye removal surgery! 6/11: Foxy's hair had filled in over her surgery site and it's now very normal looking.

Foxy is very high energy and will play by herself if no one will entertain her. Foxy can toss a stuffed toy straight into the air or across the room and then catch it herself. Her foster mom expects that she would enjoy agility training. She will gets along with other dogs and would love a companion her own size. Due to her eye injury and small stature she should probably not live with small children (<5 years). Foxy is quiet in the crate and housetrained. She would also love to sleep in the bed with you, but is ok to sleep in her crate as well.

Foxy Girl has been deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, tested for heartworms, and spayed.

I used to work as a veterinary technician and I currently foster for the local humane society. I am recently engaged and in need of some extra income, so I have decided to take on petsitting in my extra time. I have many years experience with training and housesitting (friends and family have been asking us for years). Our dogs are rarely left for long hours. We have two large pens in the basement if they need to be left for a short time (if we run out to the store or something). We have a LARGE half acre fenced in yard.

I will charge about the same rate as your local vet. Your dog MUST be dog friendly with all dogs and must be up to date on all vaccines! We strongly prefer altered pets. I believe that this is a much better option than having your loved pet sit in a cage at the vet- let out only three to four times a day to go to the bathroom and never given a chance to run and play. Please email as soon as you know about your trip as I will only take a few dogs at a time.

Housesitting in your home is also an option depending on circumstances. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
