RE: When all else fails
I haven't posted before now and really don't care about some fire. But I will say that I agree with the other poster in that one should at least write in complete sentences so that readers can comprehend what they are trying to say. It's not demeaning anyone, but rather giving feedback on how to communicate in order to get their point across. I for one, like reading different perspectives (on most topics). However, when a poster can't even communicate at the basic level, it is very frustrating.
With all due respect, you go way overboard in saying someone doesn't have respect for fellow man & etc. It's not like the post you're referring to was professional in nature. Very hateful and demeaning in itself IMHO. You say a comment about inability to communicate is "demeaning" and "no respect for fellow man", yet the poster who had trouble communicating was spewing all sorts of hate and demeaning comments, calling students "entitled" and "idiots."
