Blacksburg Community Action Gently Used Clothing SHop is offering all adult shoes and socks free (men's and women's) Thursday AM.

It is also offering women's shorts and one whole rack of women's tops FREE during store hours Thursday 8 AM - noon.

Adult shoes of all types are also free. This includes lots of sandals, athletic shoes, dress shoes, and casual shoes of all sizes and colors and labels.

THe nonprofit shop for gently used clothing is located at 141 JAckson St, SIDE DOOR, in downtown Blacksburg behind Wachovia Bank. (Look for the brightly painted bins in the parking lot.)

It is open 8:10AM - NOON Thursdays.

Gently used clothing for WOMEN, MEN, AND CHILDREN is normally 50 cents each or $2-$6 a bag, depending upon bag size.

The base is in moderate condition but it has never been abused. The cushion needs cleaning but a quick once-over revealed no holes or tears. The cushion is black with some aging to something like charcoal.

We've loved having this grill and have gotten some good use out of it during the last 2 years, so there are obvious signs of use....it will need a new burner cover and the self-ignite button no longer works. However, it still grills great! Propane tank is NOT included.

My sister is moving out of her place and her new place will not let her have pets.

The cat is a 14lb female tabby who is up to date on all of her shots and has newly applied flea and tick medicine.
She gets along with other animals; has lived with 2 other cats and a dog, and quickly makes new human and animal friends.

My sister and cat have to be out of her apartment in Radford tomorrow, so we're trying to find a definite home for her by 5:30, but in the event she does not find a place to live by then I will keep her in my apartment in Blacksburg. I would rather keep her in my apartment than have her go to a bad home though, so I have to know that you are capable of providing a safe and loving home.

The Community Action clothing shop will offer all its S-Lg Men's Clothing of all Types (suits, jackets, pants, shirts, t-shirts, etc.) free, as well as shoes for everyone free Thursday morning from 8 AM - noon.

The nonprofit shop sells gently used clothing for 50 cents each or $2-$6 a bag, depending upon bag size, as part of its normal operations. Free clothes are always offered in boxes in the hallway.
