“ Please read full description”, Serious Inquiries. Handmade On A Loom, Jacquard Woven Coverlet 1800’s, Measures 85 X 65 inches, very good condition. Smoke free home. These coverlets were popular in pre-Civil War era, made from cotton and wool. Coverlet was made on a narrow hand loom requiring two panels to be stitched together to make a full bed covering. There are two very small places where thread is mis stitched, see in pics. There are no holes. Has been stored in a cedar chest. In researching I believe the pattern is called Governor’s Garden.
