Vintage - second-from-the-top model at the time - hand made in France
The main tubes, chrome tipped forks and rear stays are all top-grade Reynolds 531 (some labels are missing, but you can still see the faded outline). Campy front and rear dropouts. Though it is considered a racing fame, its geometry provides a comfortable ride.
The components are a mix of high-end and mid-range from the period:
- Campagnolo Nuovo Record front + Campy Gran Sport rear derailleur, Campy cable guide and headset
- Specialities TA crankset, 52/40 crank
- Suntour shifters
- Sunshine hubs and skewers, with Araya 27 inch rims
- Ofmega pedals with Christophe clips
- SR fluted stem with San Marco padded saddle
- BF handlebars
- Weinmann Carerra brakes with drilled levers
- paint, pin stripes, and model designation are original, but worn.
