This is a lot of 20 6"X8" Black and White Photographs of The Army Air Service pilot training activities at Ellington Field near Houston, Texas. The images include what is a review probably inconjunction with the graduation of a pilot training class. On the reverse the aircraft are identified as Liberty Motored De Haviland planes. Photos include several crash scenes, Red Cross marked aircraft, an aircraft with a movie camera mounted just behind the cockpit, and a couple images of some buildings. You can find a 1918 Year book on line. Can't confirm these are originals but some of the information written on the back of two images indicate someone with first hand knowledge may have written the notes. $55 for the lot.
