Hey there — my partner Jake and I are currently stranded at a gas station in Bland, Virginia with our vehicle halfway through repairs. We have all the parts and the tools, but Jake’s working solo, and it’s tough for one person to do it all. I usually help, but I hurt my hand and can’t use it much right now.
We’re doing everything we can to get back on the road because we need to get to Princeton, West Virginia — our little girl really needs us right now, and being stuck here has been stressful and heartbreaking.
Jake is a dedicated dad and a student in music production who creates his own music, but right now he just needs a second pair of hands to get the car back together. If anyone nearby has mechanical experience or can spare a little time, your help would mean everything to us.
We can offer gas money, food, or trade for the help — whatever’s fair. We’re just trying to get to our daughter safely and soon.
