I have a 6 year old shepsky. Hes 3/4 husky 1/4 German shepherd. Hes an absolute gem of a dog. I just no longer have the time he deserves. He LOVES pets and treats. He can sit, speak, spin (with a little help), sleep (lay down), and hes completely potty trained. He is good with everyone, and cats. He is prey focused, but actively stops himself from chasing (its funny to watch). He does not like collars or leashes or harnesses, but if you can catch him and put it on him hes okay. He has some sort of trauma with it we think. He comes when called, but he is a husky so he does yell and howl. He talks back a lot. He cannot be open fed if there are other animals, as he will never stop eating his and everyone else's food. He will sling water when he drinks. He doesnt LOVE the outdoors MOST of the time. He will be good in the bath, if you coach him in there and use a leash or a second person. He hates water hoses but loves pools. He has never bitten anyone or shown any aggression towards anyone or any of our pets. He would be better as an only dog due to his need for pets. He will cry if you dont pet him and youre petting another dog.
