My honey bee colonies (with MARKED QUEENS) come from my apiary located in Pulaski County near Radford, Virginia, and come from gentle stock that usually kept their mite counts low over the previous season. I am an all natural beekeeper who has satisfied, repeat customers. Folks come from the New River Valley, other parts of Virginia, as well as NC, WV, KY and TN to buy my bees. I sell healthy queen-right honey bee colonies for stocking the beehives in your apiary. Early each year my apiary receives a Certificate of Health from the Virginia Department of Agriculture.

The nucs I still have available are practically overflowing with bees and will make you a big colony quickly if well managed.

Most customers order five frame deep nucs for establishing colonies in the spring, but I also can offer larger colony sizes that will allow you to harvest surplus honey in the first year, if you prefer.

I have been successful using all-natural methods to produce healthy, docile and productive bees that survive the SWVA winters. I keep copious records and favor queens that demonstrate low mites and good demeanor when I raise my own. When I purchase queens, I import the highly respected New World Carniolan strain.

If you prefer aggressive bees, perhaps due to a belief that they will get you more honey or better mite control, I may not be your best source. (PS; I challenge you to point me to a study that shows a correlation between aggressiveness and honey production or mite control.)

I have sold out the last two years, so it’s best to get your in touch with me right away to put down a deposit.

Prices very depending on decisions you make about what you want to order. Please TEXT ME at show contact info so we can arrange a phone call to discuss the details and answer all your questions
