The kunekune pig has increased in popularity as of late due to their ability to graze on grass. These pigs are extremely well tempered and easy to handle, even around children. Because of their upturned noses, these pigs do not root and create the mess of normal pigs. They have tremendous pork quality, as their meat is marbled almost like beef.
