Part Time Pest Control Applicator
We have a Part Time Pest Control position opening in Blacksburg, VA
The successful candidate must be neat; clean in appearance, be punctual, be able to multitask in a fast-paced setting, ambitious, willing to work, able to read a map and be dependable, have strong oral and written communication skills, be animal friendly, be able to lift 100lbs, be subject to regular drug screening.
The following character traits are a must: hard working, driven, passionate, clean-cut, professional, organized, trustworthy, honest, reliable and dependable.
POSITION SUMMARY:
* Must be able to get certified to apply pesticides (we provide training)
* Must be able to drive a stick shift
* Reads and interprets labels for chemicals
* Communicates with supervisor
* Completes paperwork associated with chemical/mileage use
* Follows all safety policies and procedures
* Monitor supply inventory
* Lift, carry and push/pull at least 100 pounds without difficulty
* Climb in and out of crawl spaces
* Climb a twenty foot ladder and be comfortable working on it
* Performs other job related duties as assigned
