**** Update ** 11/7/2025, this pet is going through a trial at a home and if it works out, he will remain there.
2 or 3 year old Neutered house trained Australian shepherd blue heeler mix. Small rehoming fee. Daughter had to move out is state for college and she asked me to help find him a home since she could not take him with her. The dogs name is Po Boy, named after Po from Star Wars (I understand). friendly with kids, other dogs, and cats. Loves to play fetch and play with squeaky toys. Would make a great dog for anyone that wants a fun companion.
I would like to make sure that the one who is lucky enough to get Po is empowered to make it a long friendship. In that vein, in order to aid someone in knowing if this is the right dog for them, here is some research i found regarding his breeding:
"blue heeler" is actually called the australian cattle dog, which is of very high energy level https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/australian-cattle-dog/
the other half of Po is australian shepherd which is also of very high energy level https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/australian-shepherd/
This dog needs things that stimulate him, he can be a dog who lays around for hours at a time, but he also wants to be a dog who run and plays and is stimulated. So he needs a balance of both.
