Nice retro / vintage Gateway 2000 computer tower, model P5-120! This case has plenty of room to make your dream retro computer setup come to life!
The computer is currently configured with:
- Intel Pentium 120MHz CPU
- 24MB RAM (2x4MB, 2x8MB)
- No Hard Drive
- 3.5" Floppy Drive
- CD-ROM Drive (sound a little rough when the tray opens)
- Some sort of tape drive
- 3Com Fast EtherLink PCI Card
- ATI Mach64 Video Card
- Adaptec AHA-2940 SCSI Card
I was able to boot to a Windows 98 setup floppy and I could read a CD-ROM that was in the drive. The computer does sometimes report a CMOS battery failure at bootup but has a somewhat fresh battery in it and seems to keep the date/time okay. I have not tested it beyond this, and due to the age of the hardware, it is sold strictly as-is with no returns/refunds for any issues with it.
The computer does show some general wear and tear from use and handling over the years - scratches and scuffs, dirt and dust, dents and dings, etc. It also has some permanent marker writing on the side and is missing the screws for the case cover.
Includes the computer tower only as pictured - no cables or other accessories.
Price is $150. Must meet at the Liberty gas station near Corning in Christiansburg (3250 N. Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073). Cash only.
