I am selling my Craftsman "Professional" 3/8 Inch Drive Air Ratchet Wrench (Model 875.199190)
I received it as a Christimas gift several years ago but have never used it. Except for air impact wrenches to remove lug nuts, etc., I have always used manual hand ratchets and wrenches to perform my mechanical repairs as needed. Until today, I had forgotten I even had it. We have been cleaning unused items from our basement and found it in one of my workbench drawers. This tool is absolutely NEW and in it's original box. The original operating booklet is also in the box (Ref Picture 3 in this posting).
Key Specifications and Features:
1) Drive Size: 3/8-inch
2) Max Torque: Up to 50 ft-lbs
3) Air Inlet: 1/4-inch NPT
4) Air Consumption: 4.4 SCFM @ 90 PSI
5) Head Height: Low profile for tight spaces (approx. 1-1/8" without socket)
6) Features: Forward/reverse switch, textured non-slip grip, insulated handle, feather-light trigger.
Craftsman still manufactures 3/8 inch drive air ratchets today and they are sold at big box stores such as Lowes. They are primarily manufactured in China, Taiwan, or Mexico. Based on a Google search I conducted, Craftsman air ratchets possessing model numbers that begin with 875 represent their Professional models and were manufactured in Japan.
The specifications of today's Craftsman air ratchets appear to be similar to those of my ratchet and they currently sell for $69 + tax at Lowes. (Ref Picture #4 in this posting).
I am asking $40 for this Professional model air ratchet wrench. It would make a great gift for someone to use or for someone to continue saving it until it some day becomes a collectors' item.
